Church Weekend at Church

CWAC2017Please do join us for our Church Weekend at Church (CWAC). It would be great to see as many people as possible on the Friday to kick-start the weekend with musical worship together (19.00-20.30).

A few answers to the FAQs that we have received:

Bake off - the idea is that people will bring cakes that they have already baked at home. Absolutely up to you what you bake. If we end up with multiples of one variety, that is fine...there'll be lots of people wanting to eat cake. I hope we get at least 3 chocolate brownies (they're my favourite)!

Bike rides - the longer road route is up for debate, but something like the one below could be considered and should take about 90-110 minutes:

The gentler one will be there and back along the canal from Kirkstall to Rodley. Therefore, people can do as much or as little as they like before turning back. It has been suggested by some that they might like to stop at the Station Inn for refreshment before the return leg.

Film – we will take a vote on which Disney film is to be shown. We have them all…bring your own popcorn!

Nails and pampering – all are welcome. Please feel free to bring along your own nail varnish if you would be happy to offer to paint somebody else’s nails. If not, there will be plenty to choose from.

Quiz – turn up, join a team and put those brain cells to good use. No need to have a full team (unless you’re really keen) there will be plenty of people keen to snap up your wisdom.

Fairtrade breakfast – bring a few £ to help cover the costs and enjoy some of the finest fairly traded fodder available to all humanity.

Hope that all makes sense.
God bless,
Scott
