At Cornerstone, we believe that young people have a vital role to play in the life of the church both now and in the future.
“From Jesus the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” – Ephesians 4:16
We have youth work provision at Connect, Cragg and Headingley Morning, which includes groups on a Sunday, midweek Bible study, mentoring and regular socials.
We partner with other churches and organisations to run activities in the local community.
We also engage with city wide and national initiatives including EngageWorship, Mission United Faith in Life and #WeAreTearfund.
All our volunteers receive a Safe to Grow check and must regularly attend Safeguarding Training. Volunteers responsible for leading activities are also DBS checked.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch at youth@cbcl.org.uk if you have any questions.
