Shining a light in the darkness

The Lantern is a space where adults with multiple and complex needs can find friendship, food and faith.

We run The Lantern in partnership with Leeds Vineyard, in the Green House Café.

Sundays | 3.30pm - 5.00pm
Two-course hot meal served at 3.45pm, followed by a service at 4.30pm

At the service we sing a song that we can all join in with  such as  for example., ‘You've Got a Friend in Me’, from Toy Story or a well known hymn like ‘Amazing Grace’. Then comes a short talk, sometimes with a dramatized Bible reading, followed by personal prayers at each table, an opportunity for prayer ministry,  then closing with the Lord's Prayer and sharing the peace and a Blessing.
